At the Staples Center in Los Angeles on the 26 January 2020, Alicia Keys hosted the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony, which recognises the best recordings, compositions, and artists from 1 October 2018 to 31 August 2019.

It was an exciting award show! The singer-songwriter and flautist, Lizzo, received eight nominations, followed by Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X who received six nominations each. The first artist since Christopher Cross in 1981 to win awards in four major categories, Eilish won for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.
