The Fashion Awards 2019 happened on the 2 December at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall. The Fashion Awards are an annual ceremony held since 1989, showcasing British and international contributors to the fashion industry that year. Each winner was presented with a Swarovski crystal trophy designed by the Welsh artist, Ross Lovegrove. Let’s take a look at the best-dressed women of the night.
Rihanna
In the Urban Luxe category, Rihanna’s label, Fenty, won despite only being launched in May. The brand was launched with the help of LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy), the luxury goods company that owns several luxury brands such as Belvedere, Benefit Cosmetics, Marc Jacobs, Bulgari, Celine, Christian Dior, Dom Pérignon, Fendi, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Hennesey, Moët & Chandon, and several others.
The collection is size-inclusive and price-conscious. Although, at several hundred to thousands per item, it might not be accessible for all.
At the awards, Rihanna wore a Fenty mini dress in pale green/mint with matching gloves, and stiletto heels. Her jewellery was by Fabio Salini.
