Fashion Week brings out stylish men and women, celebrities, socialites, authors, actors, and the like to see the season’s hottest looks on the runway. Photographers love to capture these looks on the streets. Let’s take a look at Ladies’ New York Fashion Week street style.
The Classic Black Suit
This guest wears a classic black suit, single breasted jacket with a long-line cut. She wears pointed lapels and slightly shortened sleeves with buttoning detail at the cuff. She tucks her designer handbag under her arm. Her trousers are fitted through the hips and legs and she wears the plain white high-crew-neck t-shirt look that’s so popular this season. She wears cat-eye sunglasses and centre-parted slicked back hair that is pulled into a sleek ponytail. This look can definitely be worn to the boardroom. What do you think?
Channelling Clueless
The 1990s teen classic, Clueless, based on Jane Austen’s Emma, gave us the iconic tartan skirt look and this Fall the look is back in. Actress Caroline Vreeland wears a white and blue check gingham single-breasted skirt suit. She has pointed lapels and opts for no shirt underneath. The buttons are fastened high on the waist and torso and the already-short-yet-stylish skirt has an additional slit, showcasing her long, slim legs. She opts for sleek sandal heels with a simple strap over the toe and at the ankle in a neutral colour. The jacket sleeves are slightly long, but overall she looks confident with her slicked back short bleached blonde hair.
Blue Tartan
Another plaid look is this blue tartan ensemble worn by Sofia Carson. The singer and actress attends the Michael Kors show and wears these high-waisted sleek trousers with a black turtleneck jumper with a matching double-breasted coat and pointed lapels. Her hair is slicked down and she wears hoop earrings and carries a stylish briefcase-like designer alligator skin handbag. She wears baby-blue pointed toe shoes in a stylish suede fabric.
Electric Blue Beauty
Moroccan fashion designer Miryam Labiad is seen wearing an electric blue silk wrap over suit with pointed lapels and button design at the hip where the fabric wraps around the back. She wears a wavy short dark bob and fuchsia pink hoop earrings. The jacket has cropped sleeves to show off her Louis Vuitton clutch and watch accessory. The top pocket has a chain detail. The trousers are flared and have a pattern detailing from the knee to the hem where the fabric splits. She wears pointed toe heels in silver and electric blue to match.
