Idris Elba has been heating up our screens since The Wire and Luther first aired, and his suited-and-booted look for the Royal Wedding of the season is no different. Accompanied by his gorgeous fiancé, Sabrina Dhowre, Elba can be seen in a navy three-piece suit with a lush textured fabric.
The waistcoat has small buttons that are mirrored on the blazer’s cuffs (a four-button detail). Elba keeps the ensemble simple with a crisp white tailored shirt and a tie in the same colour as the suit. His hair and beard are well-groomed and his outfit complements his fiance’s. Her long, brightly red-and-green trimmed blazer could be cut from the exact same navy cloth as his and Dhowre’s fascinator matches Elba’s suit colour perfectly.
Elba’s suit is impeccably tailored as can be seen on the stitching detail along the top of the jacket pockets. At the premier of Disney’s and Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War, another Marvel cast-member, Chris Hemsworth wears a suit on the purple carpet. This three-piece suit harks back to times of the past with a pocket-watch detail in the waistcoat yet with a casual twist, i.e. the scuffed suede grey/brown shoes and open shirt.

Young singer Zayn Malik was known for his singing chops in One Direction, but lately he’s been recognised as a solo artist in his own right. No stranger to pushing the style boundaries, Malik is often seen wearing a tailored look alongside fiancé supermodel Gigi Hadid on the red carpet. His latest look at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards in Madison Square Garden shows Malik wowing the crowds in a pink wool suit.
Malik’s trousers and suit jacket are slim fit, single-breasted with a two button detail. As is the fashion, he has a single button buttoned and his white cuffs are visible below the sleeve, also revealing a tattooed hand, a bracelet, and several rings. The trousers are slim-fitted through the hips and legs. Malik’s hair is spiked, shaved on the sides, and his beard is closely trimmed and groomed.
One of the most interesting features of this look is the black and white embroidered rose on the notched lapel as well as his perfectly coordinated socks and brown loafers. Certainly a lot of thought has gone into this perfectly tailored look.
