Brazil is known for its beautiful exotic people and the fashions are no less fascinating. Let’s explore some of the latest runway trends in Brazil this season—Brazilian bravado: how to stay on trend. Some of these looks are very bold, especially for everyday wear, but let us know what you think in the comments.

Orange

Orange appears to be a choice colour on many of the runways this season. You can see everything from orange animal print that you can tuck into your tailored trousers or wear under your tailored coat or orange jumpsuits (a la incarceration?) with cut-outs to boot or even beautiful orange flowing dresses with matching shoes and ruffles. Would you wear orange this season?

Whites and earth tones

Brazil seems to be channelling its inner earth child with flowing looks of white and earth tones complete with ruffles—perfect looks for spring and summer in the heat.

Patterns

Some gorgeous garments this season come in some stunning and colourful patterns. Dresses and suits, flowing fabrics mixed with stiff leather, plunging necklines and buttoned up collars—these patterned garments run the gamut.

Tailoring

The tailoring seen on the runway was bold and colourful. Tailoring is ‘in’ right now and many runways feature variations on the classic suit.

The takeaways

Brazil has shown a lot of creativity on the runway this season with some crossover—as in seeing orange and patterns as separate trends and crossing over into tailoring. On the other hand, light and flowing clothing seems popular this season too but the looks are on opposite spectrums.
