Two new takes on the classic tuxedo. New suit fabric choices. And a tried and tested suit staple. Here are our choices this week for best dressed men in New York Fashion Week.

Bart Freundlich

American film director, television producer, and screenwriter, Bart Freundlich was spotted at New York Fashion Week alongside his wife, Oscar winning actress and beauty Julianne Moore.

Moore and Freundlich arrive together at the Tom Ford Women’s Fall/Winter 2018 collection for a runway show at the Park Avenue Armory.

Freundlich looks dapper in his single-breasted black suit with notched collar. He opts for a groomed beard and hairstyle with a clean white shirt with the top button undone. His look is classic and simple, accompanying his wife. He wears black leather shoes and his outfit contrasts Moore’s daring footwear choice.

He is seen watching the show intently from the front row alongside other celebrities such as Elizabeth Banks, Hailey Baldwin, Doutzen Kroes, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zayn Malik, Anwar Hadid, and Nicola Peltz.

His look reminds us of Richard Madden’s appearance for The Bodyguard premier. What do you think?

Vincent Lane

Male model Vincent Lane wows with three looks this fashion season. First, he is seen in a loud paisley suit on a black background. He pairs this suit with a plain white V-neck t-shirt and white high-top trainers, his glasses poised on his head as he attends the Parke and Ronen show.

His second look consists of a traditional tuxedo in updated colours as he attends the Jasmine fashion show at The Shows at Industria Studios. The purple velvet tuxedo jacket looks sharp as he saunters to his seat.

His final look us the most daring yet: a blue floral suit. Lane looks confident in this impeccably matched garment. From the matching black handkerchief to the matching black belt and black glasses to the white shirt with black buttons and white trainers, every ounce of this look is calculated with precision.

Lane is certainly the most bold of our list so far. Which of his three looks do you like the best and would you be so bold as to pull these looks off? We think he chose well!

Tom Hiddleston

The Night Manager and The Avengers actor, Tom Hiddleston dons a classic navy blue tuxedo as he attends the Ralph Lauren fashion show at Bethesda Terrace during New York Fashion Week on the 7th September.

Hiddleston looks incredibly handsome with the groomed beard and hair look (very popular this season). His tuxedo jacket has contrasting lapels and his bow tie matches the colour of the jacket perfectly.

Navy is an interesting colour choice for a classic tux but it works incredibly well. Hiddleston opts for matching navy trousers in slim fit and straight legs and wears black leather shoes. He looks incredibly confident. What do you think? Which is your favourite Hiddleston look?

Which look was your favourite? Would you go bold and daring or keep it safe? Would you choose bold new fabric colours, patterns, and textures or go with classic choices? Either way, whatever your choice, we have the right suit for you. Get in touch with our tailors to find your fit.
